Springtime in "the Valley"

LOL Paradise Valley isn't really in a valley that's the funny part. The snow and ice have just about all melted away, days are warming up, and the geese are back! Must be springtime. I noticed some of my tulips have found the sun, and my allium are up at least 4 inches now. I've really got to buy some more of those amazing flowers. No sign of the lilac leaves yet which makes me think there is still another cold snap yet to come. The baby is happy and warm, wiggling around quite often these days. I'm 24 weeks. The Newest News!

To the list of sister, friend, cousin, aunt, & wife you can now add MOTHER! We found out over Christmas that I'm pregnant and are all very excited about it. Baby is due August 17th, just 3 days before my birthday. :D I've had one Dr's appointment and one ultrasound so far so I don't know much. BUT I have heard the baby's heartbeat and seen my little Sweetpea on the screen. I'm going back for another ultrasound next week so after that I'll post pictures! Right now though I'll show you the baby afghan that I made. It's blue but we are not going to find out of it's a boy or a girl. Right now I'm 11 1/2 weeks.
